About
Henry currently studies Film and TV Composition (MA) at Bristol University, after having completed Music (BA) at Durham University. Presently, aside from the role as Choral Scholar for the University Church Choir, he is occupying himself with numerous film scoring projects in his free time, as well as Drumming and Producing for Rock Band VIADUCT. He previously attended Uppingham School in Rutland under a music scholarship, in recognition of his exceptional music writing skills as well as for his skills in Baritone voice, Piano, and Percussion.
At Uppingham School, Henry enjoyed broadening his musical repertoire in all genres of music; he was lead Percussionist of the school's Chamber and Symphony Orchestras as well as for the Senior Concert Band and a First Bass in the Chapel Choir. He enjoyed first recitals of eight of his pieces there.
It was as a boy chorister at St. Edmundbury Cathedral that Henry discovered a passion for Music, and, in particular, for sacred choral music, having written his own music at home since a very young age. His Christmas Bells carol and his Ave Verum motet were premiered at the Cathedral. In his final year there, he sung three solos on BBC Radio 3 with the choir.
